Workmen Demolishing the Arch
Description
A Merthyr Express Newspaper article making an account of the demolition of the coal arch in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil. Submitted by Yvonne Pugh to go alongside her acrylic painting of the arch. The arch was built to commemorate the visit to the Dowlais steel works by King George V and Queen Mary in 1912.
