These pages compiled by Pauline Evans in her Valley’s Re-told Sketchbook show two photographs chosen by the Dowlais Visual Art Group members to be displayed at their Dowlais Engine House Valley’s Re-told Exhibition in August 2023. Pauline kept her sketchbook alongside the project and has annotated these pages and drawn black fine line pen sketches. These photos went on to become sources of inspiration for several group members artworks and a collaborative screen print project. The sketchbook will be on display at Cardiff Museum as part of their Valley’s Re-told Exhibition.
