Morgan Evans was a professional weightlifter from Merthyr Tydfil. He was born in 1887 and in 1891 lived in 10 Upper Colliers Row, Merthyr.

In the 1900's, Morgan travelled in carnivals and made his name in the weight lifting world.

Morgan Evans later married and lived with his wife at 8 Church Street, Merthyr. He lived there until he died at the grand age of seventy-eight.
