Born in Jamaica and migrated to the UK at 19, Roy overcame hurdles in discrimination and vision loss. Despite that Roy’s commitment to community service remains strong.Through Age Alive, Roy proceeds to empower individuals: "I hope that, as the years go by, someone else will come along and make Age Alive be the cornerstone that brings more people together."
