Hoci Cymru Caps Celebration Event 2024

Description

Hoci Cymru was thrilled to be joined by 39 Alumni at this year's caps celebration event where our alumni received their first cap for representing Wales! We were joined by over 90 people, with alumni’s friends and families joining them on this special occasion, there was plenty of laughter, tears, and hugs!

During this afternoon of reminiscing, we had a Q&A with two of our alumni, David Hacker and Eirianwen Thomas, where they shared their experiences and memories representing Wales and in David’s case, GB as well. Further speeches came from Hoci Cymru CEO, Paul Whapham, One of our amazing Hoci Cymru Volunteer Historians, Phil Bailey, Hoci Cymru Project Manager, Alice Gregory, and closing the day off we had Hoci Cymru Young Ambassador, Lily Morgan, presenting on her work on Neurodiversity In Sport.
