St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Abergele
Description
This Catholic church is dedicated to St Therese of Lisieux. It is a 20th century creation, built in 1934. The architect was Giuseppe Rinvolucri, an Italian from Piedmont who came to Wales after World War I, settled in Conwy and designed several Catholic churches in Wales and England. It was built in reinforced concrete faced with stone and is a neo-Byzantine cruciform building with semi-circular and domed apses.
