Ceinws, Esgairgeiliog. 1936. In 1936, when the Ministry of Labour were building the training Forestry camp by Esgairgeiliog farm, one of the lorries ran off the road by Bryndulas in Ceinws causing a bit of a stir in the community. Vehicles were still relatively rare in the village then, never mind heavy lorries, so everybody turned up to see it being pulled back up to the road. The small boy with a cap near the lorry is Ken Rowlands.
