A plate from a service made by the Derby factory for Thomas Johnes of the Hafod estate in Cardiganshire. Decorated with a scene on the River Ystwyth.1787. Originally made to be presented to his friend Lord Chancellor Thurlow. A number of pieces held in the NMW at Cathays Park but not currently on public view.
