A photo by "Pembroke Studio" believed to have been taken at HMS Goldcrest, Brawdy, Wales sometime between January 1954 and February 1955. Ronald Roberts (sitting far right and originally from Glyndyfrdwy) served with Goldcrest as a POSM (Petty Officer Stoker Mechanic) between these dates. Hopefully others may recognise family members in the photo and possibly shed some light on this "motley crew". I understand that there was a lot or restructuring taking place at the base after it was handed over to the Navy by the Air force hence the reason for mechanics being present.
