Corris Holy Trinity church at Corris was 150years old in 2010. To commemorate this, the community organised an exhibition to celebrate the occasion and also had a celebratory service at the church. This is a photograph of three local authors who were at the celebration:- Julia Gunn who wrote a book with her husband Ray in 2003. It was called, Esgairgeiliog Ceinws, In pictures and Words, Past and Present. It is available to read on Peoples Collection Wales. :- David Jones wrote the book Corris, Trwy Lygad y Camera. Through the eye of the camera in 2002. :- Sara Eade (front) has written quite a few books:- In 2010, Ratgoed, A study in slate of the quarries and tramway and the social life of a Merionethire valley :- In 2011, Within These Hills, a study of Corris Uchaf, Braichgoch quarry and the Upper Corris tramway.
