Images of New Quay near Trevalen Downs at St Govans Head in Pembrokeshire. When i commenced my family research of the area I discovered an old tale of this area being used for smuggling. The items would be stored at Castle Tank, a property not too far from New Quay, that has since been demolished when the MOD took over the land.

When walking around the general area, this rumour would fit the purpose of the Quay comfortably.
