Peter describes his work as the site (Lisvane and Llanishen Reservoir) Ecologist, undertaking habitat and species surveys since 2001; firstly for Hyder and subsequently for Western Power, Natural Resources Wales and now for Welsh Water. The ecological significance of the site is discussed, and the process of undertaking fungi surveys described - including how volunteers have supported this in recent years. Recent developments include reinstating of the fishponds and there is scope for further work to be done in this area.
