Porth Square, Porth, RCT

Description

A post card view of Porth Square from Pontypridd Road, Porth, RCT. Lloyds Bank is just on the right. The central building, in the middle of the square, was a public toilet. Easy to reach at this time but as the traffic increased it became more dangerous to cross the road. By 1970 the building itself was delipidated and it was demolished allowing more room for traffic. The area has been further redeveloped since. The card has the date 3 September 1946 written on the back.
