This shows Mary Amelia Davies of Ty Mawr farm, Ysbyty Cynfyn, who was the District Nurse and Midwife for the Cwmystwyth area. She travelled around her area by bicycle at first and later travelled by taxi for her work. This photo shows her standing under the Arch next to one of those taxis.
