Presented filmworks in progress about the Scarce Yellow Sally to community members and staff at The Rainbow Centre, Penley. This presentation included the interviews with Hannah and Jo, researchers at Chester Zoo explaining the process of finding Sally in 2017. I spoke with individuals and recorded their responses to the film works. The wisdom of age and stories collected brought to the fore the importance of working collectively to restore and improve both community living and care for our natural surroundings. The assumption is that it’s only the youth of today who are aware, but what the community from the Rainbow centre expressed was that they have always been worried about the sustainability of our environment for the future and our lifestyles today is just not sustainable in the long term.
