Cofiwch Dryweryn
Description
My father was from Flintshire (Sir Y Fflint) and although I as born in London, now living in Lincolnshire, I have always had a hiraeth and found myself in North Wales whenever I have the opportunity. I spent a short while in Llanberis and Glyn Ceiriog a few years ago working. My ultimate goal is to retire in Wales and enjoy the fresh air and hopefully learn enough of the language between now and then that I can talk in Welsh.
I have two tattoos of Welsh reminder and that is on my left arm the Welsh flag with "Cofiwch Dryweryn" written in the dragons wing in memory of the disgusting atrocity the villagers were subjected to and on my right arm the first two lines of the Lords Prayer in Welsh "Ein Tad, yr hyn wyt yn y nefoedd".
