WW2 A.R.P. Training models.
Description
Three 'cast' metal aircraft from the WW2 era. The largest of the three (wing span measures 8 inches), I believe to be representative of a Lockheed P-38 Lightning. The other two...... an iconic Spitfire and the other I believe to be representative of a twin engine Avro 'Manchester' bomber.
These model aircraft were used during aircraft recognition training by the Air Raid Precautions (A.R.P.) and Police in South Wales.
Extrememly rare to find these still surviving from 80+ years ago.
Two are cast aluminium, and the other I believe is made from cast iron or steel.
