National Eisteddfod, Ebbw Vale 1958
Description
Paul Robeson and his wife Eslanda were invited as special guests to the National Eisteddfod held in Ebbw Vale in August 1958.
Here he was presented with a Welsh hymn book to mark his visit, and he spoke of the importance of his Welsh links:
"You have shaped my life - I have learned from you."
