Letter re death of Percy Finch
Description
Percy King Finch, resident of Camrose near Haverfordwest, joined the 14th Battalion Welsh Regiment (known as the 'Swansea Pals'). He held the rank of Lance Corporal and landed in France in December 1915. He was killed on 9 January 1916, aged 29 and is buried at Rue-De-Bacquerot No. 1 Military Cemetery, Laventie. This letter was sent to Camrose (author unknown) detailing Percy's last moments, and includes a mention of John Absalom, a fellow resident of Camrose.
