Archie Lee's name on the Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing
Description
Archibald Alfred Lee (known to his family as Archie) of Croesyceiliog, near Cwmbran, was serving with the Machine Gun Corps when he was killed in action on 10 April 1918. His body was never recovered, and his name is recorded on the Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing (8 miles south of Ypres), which commemorates over 11,000 servicemen of the British and South African forces who died in this sector but have no known grave.
