A photo of my friends great grandparents taken in about 1910. His g/grandfather as seen in the photo is Glamorgan Constabulary - Police Sergeant 142 Frederick George Welsby, of the 'B', or Pontypridd Division of Glamorgan Constabulary.

At that time, P.S. Welsby was a local Colliery Sergeant, stationed at the Constabulary outstation situated on Foundry Road, Hopkinstown (north of Pontypridd.
