The successful Burry Port Secondary Modern School U15’s rugby team from the 1970’s,  caption reads… Burry Port County Secondary School’s most successful team this season has been their Under 15 Team who have remained unbeaten and crowned it with a splendid performance in the Llanelli & District Schools’ Cup Final by beating Coleshill 26 points to 8. Captain of the team has been Michael John who this season represented Wales against Italy and the South of Scotland. The team is pictured here with headmaster F. J. Morgan and P.E. Master Mr. D. B. Rees. The team is made up of boys predominantly from the Kidwelly and Burry Port areas.
