Peter “Pete Bach” Williams was a remarkably gifted all-round sportsman who had the honour of captaining both Kidwelly Rugby Football Club and Kidwelly Town Cricket Club. His talent on the rugby field led him to play a full season (1988–89) for Llanelli Rugby Football Club (the Scarlets). Larger than life and warmly regarded, Pete made countless friends through rugby and cricket alike. After retiring from both sports, he turned to golf, where he once again proved highly accomplished. Pete sadly passed away in 2022 in Cape Town, South Africa — a much-loved individual who is deeply missed by many.
