As part of the links with the local museum artists from Dowlais Visual Art Group took part in an discovery activity, whereby Klara introduced us to paintings, sculpture, items of historical interest, etc.  Artists were given the opportunity to ask questions, sketch and photograph the items on display as well as those kept in the stores.  These sketches could then be used as a resource for further artworks, ideas and inspiration for the group.
