Description
Map relating to enemy air raid on Cardiff, Whit Tuesday 18 May 1943. The German air attack was a 'retaliation' raid for the now famous Dam Buster raid by the R.A.F. The raid covered Penarth and Newport as well as Cardiff, but Cardiff bore the brunt of the attack.
