In 2023 a quilt was created by Cutting Edge Textile Group, Ystradowen to celebrate International Women's Day. Members were invited to create a block dedicated to a Welsh woman from the past or present who inspired them. Forty five women are represented on the finished quilt. A scrapbook containing biographies of the women, those who created the blocks and why accompanies the quilt which permanently hangs in St Johns House, Bridgend.
