My dear Gordon
I am rather bad & ?
book to write. Do you think I could
stay at WallNook? If they are free
I might come next week. Would you
tell me anything you can about the cost,
the food or? I should want a
quiet sitting room & nothing fanciful
in the way of food, tho if they bake their
own bread so much the better.
I heard of one copy of the
folklore of West Wales but as it was 7/.
I thought it not worth reporting.
Mind, I shouldn't worry
you if I came down, at best my
present condition would not I think
make me worrying. I am merely
very low indeed. I may go to
Wales, because I may have a Welsh book to
prepare & this story would help. But I
should be glad if it turned out that I came
to Wall Nook.
Yours ever
E. T

Could you also tell me about Harlech?
What should I have to pay & am I likely
to get 2 rooms now?
