An early two piece, interlocking uniform belt buckle with central shield badge for the Borough of Neath. 4 inches long and possibly a belt buckle worn on a belt on the outside of a tunic, Would have been attached to a leather belt that measured approx. 2 inches wide. 

I have seen other designs of Neath Borough Police belt buckles, but this is a design which I have not previously come across.
