Together with our friends from 'Ibero Latin Americans in Wales' (a key Swansea based community group supporting asylym seekers and refugees), we held a tapestry workshop in Swansea in April 2025. Led by experienced Mexican seamstress Dalila, local people along with participants from countries such as Colombia, El Salvador, Spain, Honduras and Venezuela, had fun together stitching the flags of their respective nations. The result was a mosaic of beautiful colours and patterns, celebrating our various nations.
