Brass plated interlinked chain, most likely a bracelet.
Additional information from ‘Time for Tea’ workshop in 2024 with Indian Heritage UK - Probably an object of identity of the head of the village or province. Symbolises power, peace and wealth. Belief system of bringing good fortune to the place they live. Questions raised include identity of the object whether it is jewellery or a sign of inherited power. Potential to explore the artistic value beyond the material metal.
