Description
A poem by Robert Owen, originally from Barmouth, written while crossing the equator on his way to Australia. He was migrating to Australia after suffering from TB, and had been advised that the climate in Australia would help his health. This was a letter to his brother Owen, written in the form of a poem, with verses 3 and 4 directly relating to the stars and how people felt longing and memories when looking to the heavens.
The poem was published in "Cymru" magazine in 1892.
