Description
The arc of Mazarelos is one of the ancient gateways to Santiago de Compostela in the Middle Ages when it was still a walled city.
Located next to the College of Philosophy at the University of Santiago in Plaza de Mazarelos has great historical value because it is the only one of the seven gates which had the wall that still stands up.
