Thomas Smith of Gelmast

Description

This studio portrait was taken in glasgow and found under Gelmast floorboards together with a copy of 'the Kirkudbrightshire Advertiser' dated 12 November 1874. Thomas Smith was born in Scotland and was farming Gelmast during the 1881 Census.
