Senedd entrance steps, Cardiff, 2006
Description
The Senedd is a pioneering environmentally sensitive building by the Richard Rogers Partnership. It opened on 1 March 2006 and houses the debating chamber and supporting offices of the National Assembly for Wales, now the Welsh Government. Built with materials such as Welsh slate and welsh oak, it has a suspended timber-clad roof over glass-walled chambers and offices designed to represent the transparency of government in Wales.
