D Day Dodgers

Description

A Clydach soldier, David (Dai) Griffiths, in Italy at the end of World War 2 sends the words of the song D Day Dodgers (sung to the German tune Lily Marlene) to his son with a suggestion he learn the words by the time Daddy comes home.
The singers are members of the Ospreys Supporters Choir.
A local miner remembers Dai singing the song on his way to the coal face at Clydach Merthyr (Nixon's) colliery.
