Faces of Ynyslas: Women's ATS personnel being trained in the use of plotting instruments

Description

This image of one of six donated to the National Army Museum by Mrs M Ranson, which relate to her time spent as an Experimental Assistant (Gunnery) between 1941-46. Part of that time, she spent at MOS EE AA Ynyslas.

The above image is believed to show ATS demonstrating the use of plotting equipment to a group of visiting high ranking army personnel.

The image may have been taking at Ynsylas, or perhaps at Aberporth or one of the other of Welsh wartime ranges. We would love to hear from anyone who can identify any of the people shown or provide more information about the location.
