Next door to the right was the Chinese Laundry, which was only one up and one down, but had about half a dozen people living in it. Next door to the left was Thomas the Chemist, which was later taken over by Wilcox's the Chemist. At a leter date, Wilcox's knocked through into Morgan's shop, extending both premises.'. Taken 1958.
