This post card shows a picture of a Church in Aden where Gunner Daniel Davies was based in 1914/15. He has written a note on the back saying that this was the Church he goes to every Sunday. The inscription on the back of this postcard from Daniel Davies which says ‘This is the Church I go to every Sunday.’
 
It should be noted that a memorial plaque was placed in the church in  1916 which said “In Memory of the following N.C.Os & Men of the Breconshire Battalion South Wales Borderers who died while on Active Service at Aden 1914-15."
 
This plaque was moved some time after WW2 to Brecon Cathedral, but has subsequently been lost.
