Aerial photograph of Ynyslas taken in 2004
Description
Ynyslas National Nature Reserve incorporates a wide range of special habitats - sand dunes, saltmarsh, peat bog, sand banks and beaches.
Hidden amongst the sand dunes are the remains of one of World War II's military secrets - a firing range and research establishment that played vital role in the development of rocketry and space travel.
Park in the beach car park and begin your exploration.
