Ynyslas village in 2009
Description
Since the war many of the military buildings have been swept away, and new houses and bungalows built on the plots. The most notable diappearance is that of Brynellen, a striking black-and-white timbered villa that once stood near the fairway of the golf course at the northern end of the village. The driveways that once led to thevilla can still be seen in this image close to a small roundfeature, which is the base of one of the former emergency water towers.
