Postcard featuring an illustration of a soldier. His backpack contains twelve black and white photographs of Prees Heath Camp, Whitchurch, Salop. Sent by Private Brinley Rhys Edmunds of Dunraven St, Barry, to his parents. He died in France on 5 September 1918, aged 19, while serving with the Durham Light Infantry. He originally enlisted with the Welch Regiment, but was discharged for being underage in 1915.
