In this drawing, Falcon records the reading room at Blaenau Ffestiniog Library. The Arts and Crafts style building, which has gothic-arched doorways on either side of the front elevation, has a balcony and timber framed oriel windows at first-floor level. The large, ground floor windows seen here provide light for the reading room, where the daily newspapers were laid out on tall, sloped desks, to be read standing.
