Charlotte Louisa Traherne was the sister of Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot, who inherited the Margam and Penrice estates in 1824. An amateur artist, she drew and painted many views of the estates, and presented them in a series of volumes called 'Illustrations of Glamorganshire.'
