So important was Pontypool Carnival and Fete, that groups of locals would put hugh amounts oif work into creating unusual and entertaining "floats". This one entitled, "Ain't it Grand to be Bloomin Well Dead" is sure to have generated some laughs in the 1920's or 30's!
