Aberystwyth Castle, January 2015
Description
The castle is an Edwardian fortress built in the late 13th century, around which the town of Aberystwyth has expanded.
The upright stones form part of 'Cylch yr Orsedd' (Gorsedd Stones) which are an integral part of the druidic ceremonies of the Eisteddfod. They are erected wherever the National Eisteddfod has been held to commemorate the event.
