On 11/08/2011 during the renovation of the roof of the cottage the builders made a new chimney stack. At the base of the stack where it joins the roof tiles it had to be sealed with lead sheeting/flashing. Charlie is joining two lengths of the lead sheet by welding them together. A tricky job because too much heat just melts the lead and creates a lot of holes.
