Description

No number - This longhorn beetle (Ceroplesis , family Cerambycidae, sub family Lamiinae) belonged to John Williams-Vaughan who was a child in the early 1900s. It is from Lagos, Nigeria. Vaughan went on to donate lots of specimens to the museum. The letter with it says: ‘My dear mama old beetle look’d dull this morning but I hope he will be more cheerful tomorrow.
