Engraved powder horn

Description

A/549-0 - Powder horns, usually made from cattle horn, were used to store gunpowder. They were filled at the larger end and the smaller end was used to load the gun. This has the engraving: “Used by R. Woolcock – Kings Own Regiment, Waterloo June 18th 1815.” The Battle of Waterloo took place in Belgium.
