Painted Feather
Description
SMMI 7646.3 - Captain Will Nelson painted this feather for his wife Annie around 1898. He often sailed around Cape Horn, bringing copper back from Latin America for the smelting industry in Swansea. The church in the image is St Mary’s Church, Swansea, where Will and Annie may have married.
