Description
In 2008, after two years of retirement, Mrs Vernester Cyril OBE was invited to an event at the mayor's parlour in Newport Civic Centre to celebrate 60 years of the National Health Service (NHS). At this event, Newport City Council presented her with an engraved plaque for her years of service and contribution to the NHS.
